Self Symbol GIF Reflection

My self symbol concept revolves around my need for sleep. I find myself setting ten alarms on my phone each morning because I always shut the alarms off and keep sleeping.I wish i could just turn time back. I decided to use a alarm clock because it is more universal than a phone alarm.

Originally I planned to have the clock stay in place and just have "Ring!" flashing in the background. Then i realized i could use color and tilt the clock to give the impression that the clock is loud. My thumbnail looked nothing like this. I planned to have a digital clock that would unplug, but having the hammer shows how much I hate when the alarm rings.

Portrait Transformation Reflection

The concept behind my project was making school a darker, rule-free, place. The title of my project is "Anarchy in MHS". I am very happy with the results of my project. I feel that I did a good job using different tools to make my project look realistic.

The photos on the far left are two of the original photos that I used. What I needed to do first was to use the magnetic lasso tool to select only the figures body. After that I copy and pasted it onto the photo of the doors. Then, I used the transformation tool to scale her to the right size. Next, in a new layer I put down a second copy of the already transformed figure. I flip the image and gave it a low opacity so it would look like a reflection on the ground. After that I put in my previously made stencil of my self onto the wall by copy and pasting. I also inserted the bloody hand, anarchy symbol, and spray can by finding images online, then using the magic wand tool to select the parts I wanted. Then I pasted them into new layers and scaled them to size. I used curves to make the room appear darker. But that didn't make everything dark enough, so I used the darken tool on the rest of the image.

Letter Project Reflection

1.My process was first to brainstorm then draw off of some of the ideas I came up with. I think that this process was helpful enough, even though I didn't use any of the designs I came up with for my final.

I arrived at my final concept through a series of other ideas. I originally planned on making a realistic hand with the fingers in a V. The peer feedback I got was on another design that I had planned to do, it was helpful for that design but not this one.

2. I originally got my concept from the famous image of Richard Nixon throwing up the peace symbol. my concept then stemmed into a more playful and colorful design. For example, I made the hand a cartoon rather than realistic. Also, I planned to make everything black and white, but I put color in to make the hand pop more.

3. The most challenging part of the project for me was getting proportions correct. I struggled to make the fingers a good size and angle so that they would look like a V. I had this problem because drawing is not my strongest area of art.

4. I am satisfied with my project, but I wish that I hadn't used color pencil. I don't like how spotty the colors look. If I could do it again, I would use marker.

5. if I could change my design, I would make the thumb more recognizable as a thumb. Otherwise there is not much I would change.

Hey, im noah, im 17 and from NYC. My teacher is making me post for Graphic Design (sup Ms. Lee). this is my post about what i did this summer, which was go to camp.

This summer, i was part of a Leadership Training (LT) Program at my camp. This is a picture of me with the rest of the kids in the program, along with our two coordinators (mum and Dad) on the ends.

At camp, on July Fourth, i had the opportunity to waterski in american flag shorts while holding an american flag. It was one of my favorite moments of the summer.

Lastly, i got to design and teach a class at camp, alongside my fellow LT, Arky (standing second from left). Our class was called Noah's Arky, and before anyone signed up, we wouldn't say what the class was.  I still wont say what it was. this is a picture from the final day of class.
